Woodbury is also known for having some of the top school districts in its region, with many schools being voted in the top ten best for education. Due to its convenient location, Woodbury is full of a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, and beautiful parks. One of the largest employers and tourist attractions in the town is the Woodbury Common Premium Outlet Center. It is well-known and frequently visited by shoppers from all over the state.

There are often street fairs taking place, and there is a small village with lots to do and see. Downtown Woodbury has plenty of stores and shops, and also beautiful streets to walk and explore. Coffee shops and restaurants bring a charming aspect to the town. Many people love going to the beautiful and historic downtown to walk around and stop at many of the cafes and stores.

Things To Do
Trail View State Park is the place to go for a nice hike or walk with friends and family. It is also a great place to go in search of wildlife, as there is a large variety of species that live here — many visit for birdwatching opportunities as well. The park contains several types of terrain, ranging from swampy marshes, fields, and dense forests. There are miles of walking trails available, with elevations ranging from 60- to 300-feet above sea level. For those more interested in lively activities, Woodbury street fairs are very popular in the fall.
West Point is the oldest military post in the United States, and it is only about 15 miles east of Woodbury. Bear Mountain State Park is nearby, and it is a beautiful place to spend the day. You will find a lake and river for fishing, trails for hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing, a swimming pool, and an ice skating rink. Children enjoy the Trailside Museum and Zoo and the Merry-Go-Round with hand-painted animal scenes.
